WHAT IS THE STAR PROGRAMME?
The objective of STAR is to enable schools to better meet the needs of students by personalising learning pathways and facilitating a smooth transition to the workplace or further study.The Cut Above Academy Star courses provide an opportunity to sample the hairdressing, make-up artistry and beauty therapy industries. You can work towards a unit standard and gain credits towards your National Certificate.

General information regarding course details, dates etc about the STAR programme is available from your school Careers Advisor/ STAR course Co-ordinator or by contacting our academy.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Your school can cover the costs for you.
HOW DO I ENROL?
Enrolment is through your school. Please see your Careers Advisor or STAR course co-ordinator.
WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
Only Secondary School Students in Year 11, 12 or 13 with an interest in the beauty and fashion industry are able to enrol.
WHAT WILL I GET?
You will receive a Certificate of Course completion and credits towards your National Certificate.
