Dallas Hohaia

After completing his Certificate in Commercial Barbering earlier this year, Cut Above graduate Dallas has found employment at an excellent local barber shop in Ōtāhuhu, Auckland.

Takoha Ora Barbers, owned by Cut Above tutor Kristian, aims at setting a new standard for the barbering industry, focusing on barbering as not just a haircut, but a health & wellbeing practice.

Dallas works at Takoha Ora Barbers as a ‘Next Gen Barber’, finessing his skills and learning from the lead barbers.

Treating every day, every client, and every haircut as a lesson. I’m also learning more about the community I serve, and where our kōrero can take me in life—on and off the floor.”
